By the time you receive this message, I may already be dead, including my squad, if they aren't already. We did as we were told, clear out the hive and gather resources. We failed. When things got ugly, I took off. One of the beasts slashed me as I fled, and I busted my left leg running down hill. I'm alone in the dark. All I can do now is take out as many beasts as I can and pray that help will arrive.
